Bush/McCain's Amputation Nation

If someone advertises No Cash, No Credit No Problem are they lending you money out of the goodness of their heart? How can they lend you money when they know you have NO CASH and NO CREDIT? America's Lowest Earners pull in $650 Billion every year for companies that prey on the working poor. Today we examine how an entire industry of smarmy business, seedy practices and outright illegal activity is on the hunt for low income earners and their tiny bit of cash......and the slave-like consequences for those who fall victim. ~ Randi Rhodes http://www.therandirhodesshow.com/index.php?/archives/61-Wednesday,-August-13,-2008.html

We all feel a little "battle hardened" and "stretched thin" after 7 1/2 years of non-stop pounding from the Bush regime, which has been totally enabled by Senator John McCain who has repeatedly voted against the American people and in favor of big business or war (the two ARE interchangeable - you know - business . . . war).

Soulful Interlude:

Janis Joplin's Take Another Little Piece of My Heart (Bushed America)

Come on, come on, come on, come on now
Didn't I make you feel, oh, George Bush, like you were the only one?
War profiteers
didn't I give you nearly everything that a human possibly can?
Donald Rumsfeld you know that I did
Cos each time I tell myself that I,
I think I've had enough
Oh, I am gonna show you John McCain, that a human can be tough
I want you to come on, come on, come on, come on
And take it!
Take another little piece of my heart now Dick Cheney
Break it! break another little bit of my heart now!
Yeah, have a, have another little piece of my heart now Master Card

Cos you know you got it and it makes you feel good
Yes it does.

Yeah you're out on the street, Phil Gramm you're looking good
Deep down in your heart, you know that it ain't right
No, no.
Cos you never never never hear me when
I cry out at night
Halliburton, I cry all the time!
And each time I tell myself that I can stand the pain
Oh you take me in your arms,
I sing it once again
I want you to come on, come on, come on, come on
And take it!
Take another little piece of my heart now Countrywide.
Break it!
Break another little bit of my heart now Lobbyist, yeah
Have a, have another little piece of my heart now Bush America
Cos you know you got it, it makes you feel --It makes you feel so good.

(Thank you Janis Joplin. Now . . . back to business, I mean war, no, I mean business . . .)

For Christians, stealing, or lying, or fraudulent practices of all kinds is a sin. For Christians, it should be that NOT telling a critically ill person in the hospital that they are signing their life away to a credit card with exorbitant interest charges should be a sin - it's called usury - it used to be against the law.

Invading a sovereign nation called Iraq based on lies is the greatest sinful lie of all. Millions of lives lost, and for what? Oil? It sure wasn't for America's national security. We are less safe now, thanks to George Bush, Dick Cheney and John McCain.

The greed of these leaders bears no love, but instead, a greedy predatory cry for more! Their dark illusions are just that . . . illusions - in the dark.

Yet these leaders keep taking more and more - now not even asking for your permission to take more - they just steal it while you're not looking, or when you are so down-and-out and just sick and tired, you throw up your hands and say here ya go, take my house, take my car, take my life's savings, take my arm, take my leg. HELL, you can even take my mind, take my son, take my daughter, take away all my constitutional rights, but you can't have my soul or my love, because you don't know where they are, nor have you ever known where to find them.

Valerie in torture dungeon: It seems strange that my life should end in such a terrible place, but for three years I had roses and apologized to no one. I shall die here. Every inch of me shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must NEVER let them take it from us. I hope that whoever you are, you escape this place. I hope that the world turns, and that things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. ~ Valerie. (from movie, V for Vendetta)
